What is the DDC?

I- It is a process control system in which certain components of conventional analog control systems are replaced by digital computers.

II- DDC is no longer used because current computers are capable of mimicking the proportional-integral-derivative control mode of analog devices.

III- It is more associated with discrete production industries because it replaces the electromechanical relays previously used to control ON-OFF type control actions.
